{"id":2610,"date":"2015-03-17T08:46:48","date_gmt":"2015-03-17T16:16:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/salesjumpstart.net\/blog\/?page_id=2610"},"modified":"2015-03-17T08:51:24","modified_gmt":"2015-03-17T16:21:24","slug":"business-development-basics","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/salesjumpstart.net\/blog\/sales-jump-start-programs\/business-development-basics\/","title":{"rendered":"Business Development Basics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My One Call LLC Business Development Process:<br \/>\nWith new clients we focus on the following areas by developing three time frame plans , after our initial assessment. \u00a0Those being, short term (45 days) mid term (up to a year) and long term (up to 3 years and exit strategies).<\/p>\n<p>For each time frame we are going to assess, research and then develop a plan for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Growth in Monthly Cash Flow (not sales)<\/li>\n<li>Growth in Prospect generation (# of prospects x Average revenue x closing percentages)<\/li>\n<li>Growth in operations (increase in employees and expense)<\/li>\n<li>Growth in expenses<\/li>\n<li>Growth in Pricing or expense reduction ( for each level of growth add x expense to pricing)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These areas must balance and be focused on continually to be successful.<\/p>\n<p>To implement and maintain the program we meet with the client at least twice a month for several hours, as well as continually telephone and email communications. \u00a0Remote clients can use Skype or Google Hangouts . We assign a support manager to the account to mange the weekly tasks and assist with driving the plan with the client.<\/p>\n<p>Being a My One Call client is like having a full marketing, advertising, and sales training department employed by you &#8211; without the expense.<\/p>\n<p>Part of Business Development is ongoing marketing and advertising services:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development of collateral materials. Presentation books, Web site and branding materials.<\/li>\n<li>Research into new advertising opportunities, new market opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Design and place advertising<\/li>\n<li>Screen new prospects and set appointments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ongoing Business development through<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New business opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Grow existing revenues<\/li>\n<li>Networking and relationships<\/li>\n<li>Financial and operation consulting.
